I have a BCM 50 3.0 with i1140e's installed. The system uses 4 analog trunks on the main system for incoming/outgoing. All the sets have echo on them when on a call. The analog trunks are 7000' loop and pass all requirments. The BCM is configured at the Nortel specs for IP sets at this...
Thanks for the help.
The External transfers are used on a Night status through CCR in Auto Attendant. When a caller has an emergency they choose option 1 which calls back out to the staff on call. CO disconnect supervision is turned on at the CO. Is it possbilbe for the BCM to auto flash...
I have 2 BCM 50 3.0 with 4 Analog Trunks all programmed for Pool A with Line Supervision Enabled. I have built CCR Tree 1 in Callpilot with the first option for reaching a specific external number which as most know requires 2 analog trunks to complete the call. When the call is complete the...
Can anyone tell me what The line tune digit is for in the the analog trunk settings? I am guessing it inserts additional db loss for co loss package settings. I cannot find this in the Nortel BCM 50 3.0 Documentation.
Thank you!
I had this same issue earlier with 2 BCM 50's. I incorrectly set the IP address for the default gateway.
Make sure DHCP is set to hand the correct gateway address to the IP sets and if the IP sets are configured static addresses that the gateway address is that of the router with the same...
Thank you for the help. I found my own fault. On site b under the DHCP configuration I set the defualt gateway to the address of the BCM vs the address of the gateway router. Reset the IP phones on site b and what a magical experience. Thanks again
I can ping in both directions. IP sets at site a are configured for DHCP with the start range of 192.168.0.235-245. Site b is on subnet 192.168.1.225-235. I have the IP sets on VLAN 2 recieving DHCP from the BCM. The PC's are on the same subnet but recieve DHCP from the integrated router with...
The BCM's have the integrated routers so they are hosting the vpn connection. I do agree on the voice packet flow. The other piece I left out was that we can dial extensions in each direction just no voice packet flow from a to b. My next attempt is to reboot site a.
I checked the firewall settings on both BCM's. They are configured the same. The firewall is open to UDP port 500, IPSEC ESP and the 3rd rule is any local traffic on any TCP/UDP. I tried disabling the firewall on both ends and that didnt work. The problem is only on the remote end. The local...
I have 2 BCM 50e's connected by VPN over the public network. I have configured a route for VOIP Trunks and MCDN using H.323. Both systems are using i1140s. I can make calls from one system to the other but the problem is only one way audio. I can here the other end but they cannot here me...
We were finally able to get Nortel on the phone to look at it. They agreeded there might be something wrong happening. Another sight is acting the same way after installing one last week.
All statics are out of the scope. In the DHCP table you will see which IP address that was assigned to the client host name and MAC address. At times I will check this table to see what addresses are assigned and to whom. The table without reason deletes some of the MAC and Host name out of...
Thanks MagnaRGP,
We have removed the router and tried IPconfig just to make sure one of the servers wasnt running DHCP and to our conclusion there isnt another DHCP app running. This problem did not start until we went with this new product from Nortel. The only reason we swapped the Nortel...
I have installed a Nortel BSR 222 Router and is configured with DHCP enabled. We are experiencing multiple IP conflicts on the network. Each time a new PC is added to the network with DHCP enabled it creates IP conflicts on other PC's on the network. We have replaced the router with another...
