I have 2 BCM 50 3.0 with 4 Analog Trunks all programmed for Pool A with Line Supervision Enabled. I have built CCR Tree 1 in Callpilot with the first option for reaching a specific external number which as most know requires 2 analog trunks to complete the call. When the call is complete the trunks remain hung up and dont disconnect. This has been happening a couple times a week and I have to reset the system to release the trunks. Has any body experienced this issue? Thanks for the help in advance!

It sounds as if one of your lines does not have Disconnect Supervision (COD)on it at the CO. Trunk to Trunk transfer as you are using, requires Disconnect Supervision on the incomming line. If one of your lines does not have DS, incomming calls on that line using trunk to trunk transfer will lock.

You should be using Link Transfer, not Trunk to Trunk Transfer. That way you have better transmission, zero trunks tied up and no chance of locked lines.

Thanks for the help.

The External transfers are used on a Night status through CCR in Auto Attendant. When a caller has an emergency they choose option 1 which calls back out to the staff on call. CO disconnect supervision is turned on at the CO. Is it possbilbe for the BCM to auto flash hook feature when routing through CCR?

There is a Patch out that address this issue, we have had a few do this and was fixed with patch

Yes you need to program the # sign before your phone number in order to do a "Flash Transfer". That way you're sure the line will disconnect after the transfer and the voice quality/volume will be better since you're not doing a conference.
Make sure your lines has the capacity to do "flash transfer" before reprogramming your CCR.

Thank You Very Much for the help. I will look into that patch and also try the flash transfer tonight. Thanks again. This site rocks!
