Thanks QueBall. That sounds right. If anyone has documentation explaining SRG licensing includes SIP trunking please forward it on.
The SRG is currently registered to the CS1000 signaling server using H323. I could not get the SRG to register using SIP. I now need to set up the SIP trunks on the...
Can someone please provide me with a definitive answer regarding SIP trunks on an SRG? I need to know if SIP trunks are unlocked and available once the SRG keycode is applied. My SRG documentation states that you can have up to 24 (H323) VOIP trunks. This is the standard protocol on BCM VOIP...
You can change the local number in the CS1000 as well as the SRG under active sets. I would then de-register the set on the SRG. When the set boots into local mode, enter the new set DN. You can then redirect back to the main office by entering the new BUID and TN number.
The existing BCM/SRG is functioning however the system to which is is currently registered is being retired. That said, we would like to keep the almost new BCM as a stand alone system. If the level 2 reset does indeed remove the keycodes, then I should be able to just add the first base keycode...
Even though I have no SIP trunks on the BCM, I still do not see my zone prefix being dialed on the CS1000. The zone prefix is configured as 100 in the DC1 of the zone of the SRG location and the zone is enabled. I configured SPN 1007.
7 is the first diigit of the local number I'm dialing. The...
Thanks for the quick response. I've been poking around and noticed the BCM does not have any SIP licenses, only VOIP.
If I remember correctly, VOIP licenses only support H323 and you need seperate licenses for SIP. Can you confirm this?
I did not install the SRG as it in another part of the...
I have a zone prefix configured on a CS1000 for the zone of my distant SRG.
I've entered the prifix in the SPN database but I do not route over my SIP trunks. The call is routing over the local PSTN as if the zone prefix is not being sent. Has anyone heard of this issue or have any ideas on...
Thanks for all the useful information. I'll try restarting the print service and try the virtual printer again. I found an area in the RCC server configuration to add an email server address and a from address. I'm not sure how this applies to reports being sent via email and can't seem to find...
I have a customer who's requesting reports be scheduled and sent to a file. I wanted to use the Image Writer or another third party virtual printer to send the reports to a network share. There's also a place to add an email server address in the RCC configuration but not sure this can be used...
Thanks for the response. I failed to mention that the reporter is operating with a BCM450, release 6.0. The patch level is a bit low on both the System and desktop and I didn't find any fixes in the patch read me document. Seems odd that the application doesn't recognize virtual printer drivers...
Has anyone been able to use Microsoft Image Writer or other virtual printers with the BCM RCC reporter application?
When I select the Image Writer printer and click submit, there is nothing returned to enter a file name and location.
