We have been telling the customer here that same idea for months now, but things move at the pace of a glacier in these corporations. I'm sure after we put in a 1000 hrs and finally get this thing working...they will tell us to swich it over. Thanks for all your suggestions
This is a very intermittent problem. We can go along for a week or so and then all of a sudden the modem at our main location just stops polling. We have had the TAC engineers working on this for months now and I guess they're finally going to escalate it to Nortel.
The Event Log shows, "Traffic data collection failed- failed to establish connection with data source.
The TM software is 3.2 and the OS is Windows 2003 Server
I am not sure what the hardware is on it, but they just put in another server and the modems have been changed out multiple times. Hope...
We are using an MDR- along with two US Robotics modems(one to call out and one to rcv? I am not really that familiar with this application and have been watching multiple people work on it with no sucess... Thanks
We have been having a major problem with our Telephony Manager. It just stops collecting data out of the blue and we have to reset the modem weekly. I would appreciate any help you might offer. Thanks
In response to the command PRT PDV <port#> in LD 117
We saw the following:
No PDV value is configured in database
Default PDV value is 1.0 msec
I did discuss this with TAC and he told me he increased it,
but then why does it show no value?
Thanks for all the info...
We have actually changed the SSC card in the main cabinet last week(after multiple sysloads), but not the Daughterboard. I believe TAC also changed that buffer size. This morning we changed the SSC and Daughterboard in the middle cabinet, but these messages are still...
I was wondering if anyone has seen the following error message and what it might mean:
Warning: PDV buffer for port# 1 may need to be changed
Too many Overflows: 2.
We have a Succession 1000 Version 2121 Rls 3.0
These messages have been printing out pretty regularly
for the past few weeks. Thanks
I had to go out to a down system yesterday and really had no experience at all with CS, Sig Ser, Media Gateway, etc. It was kind of confusing to say the least...
I was wondering if anyone could describe to me how all this hardware communicates with each other...kind of an overview, I guess? Thanks
Hi,
