    NDPS accesses NDS/E-directory different then queue based if your firmware is not up to date you will get I/O errors on your printers. update firware as suggested above. I believe the reason he deletes them is because you can not access the printer when this happens and rebooting doesnt help it...

    this may sound stuppid but Ive seen ( and it is documented on novell site) where you could send but not recieve e-mail as well as other odd speed issues from this, but try setting the switch and the servers speed and duplex static on the groupwise server

    if your VPNs terminate on the same interface as your frame-relay this would be considered a redirect ( as the traffic would come into the interface through the VPN and try and go out the same interface) which I know you can NOT do on a PIX and I think the router acts the same way and will not work.

    If you are asking how a user would authenticate to a server on a seperate network enable IP-HELPER which will allow netbios broadcast to pass I recommend using a directed ip-helper so it will only unicast the netbios to the server instead of broadcasting on the other network.
