you can create 2 groups in your domain (Citrix-Internal, Citrix-External) put the users in the appropriate groups and then give those groups the user rights to access the app in the specific server; this way your servers are all indentical (easier to rebuild/duplicate). Also, any future...
try using "delprof" it's a dos command and if this works you can schedule to run it every night. I'm not sure if it will delete a profile where the system has a locked file in it; but it's worth giving it a shot. MS link is below...
I set my servers to reboot everynight. Then in the gpo I enabled the "Delete cached copies of roaming profiles". This way the server cleans out the roaming profiles every night.

Thanks for replying bmclean2,
I have domain admin rights so I'm not sure if it's a right issue, but I will try the regmon/filemon and see if that shows anything.
Thanks,
Epic
I've been searching the internet for a solution and can't find one, maybe someone here has already experienced this. I've installed office 2003 on a XPe citrix server, base OS is 2000 server; published word, excel, access, and outlook. All apps launch with no problems except outlook, when I try...
Hi,
You need to go into the actual field and increase it's length. I'm not a prgrammer so I use the datadictionary to modify the field. Hope this helps.

Hi Bert,
The above zip files come with the installation of progress, but it is only in version 9.x as far as I know. I've checked to see if I could find literature on JDBC drivers for version 8.x but came up empty. So I think it's only for version 9.x and up. Good luck. Carmelo Brual (IT...

Hi Bernie,
Can you give me the following nformation.
-The 3 lines that are in the ODBC progress parameters.
-The info in your pf file
-The version of progress your database is on.
-The version of openlink you are using.
-The actual name of the database.
What I will do (if I have the same version...
Hi guys,
I use openlink ODBC and successfully connect to any progress databases. I haven't tried using it to connect to multiple databases though, cause I never had the need to do it. I can see though how you could specify multiple database connections in the pf file, but I don't know how the...
Jon,
I take it you installed the progress software? During the installation there was an option for "complete install", I always choose this and I checked my directory and found those subdirectories.

Simon,
Have you tried the calculation option. Create a new calculation and name it what ever you want. In here call your prompt, then use the result in your filters not the prompt.

SamG1000,
After getting the result from the first prompt, save that result into a txt file. Then create another prompt to select from a report file, it will then ask you where the report file is then you can point to the saved txt file. One thing to remember, only have one column saved in that...
French,
I havn't connected to an SQL server before so I don't know to much about it, but I did get this info from Progress and it looks like you need V9.x and up in order for you to connect, but you can use V8.x to copy data over to an SQL server. Hope this helps.

This solution...
Hi French,
It depends what version you are using. If you are using V8 or older, then startup the procontrol and view the database you are trying to connect to. You should see in the parameters an "-S" with a name or number, if it's a name then that name has to be in the services file...
Hi Magnus,
I don't know anything on Java but I found this in Progress and this is what progress says about JDBC drivers hope it helps you.
SUMMARY:
This solution applies to Progress Version 9.1A and Apptivity (or java
application) Versions 3.1 and 3.2. It explains the requirements to
establish...
Hi French,
If you use the network client then you should be able to connect to the database, as long as you know what the service name is or port number that was specified at the server and using pf/ini files for the connection. In progress you can use some sql syntax but you'll discover that...
Hi Zhangua,
Just making sure what you are trying to do. You are trying to sum all of the totals in the "mounts" column? If so then just click one of the numbers in that column and then click the sum button on the tool bar, this will add all the numbers in that column and generate a...
Thanks for the fast!!! reply Dave, I think I have to remap the report objects like you said. The only thing is I've never had to do this before so this is all new to me, is there any place you can guide me to that may have the steps in order to do this. I checked the online help for remapping...
