After getting the result from the first prompt, save that result into a txt file. Then create another prompt to select from a report file, it will then ask you where the report file is then you can point to the saved txt file. One thing to remember, only have one column saved in that report file. Also, if you use the "in" option with the prompt then you can select mutiple inputs from the drop down simultaneously instead of just one at a time. Hope this answers your question.
I would like to thank you for your response.
I also wanted to know if anyone knows a inbuilt way of calling multiple reports like -->"??prompt??"

You haven't specified whether the multiple uses are in a single report, or over a series of reports called in sequence, which is where Carmelo's hint would help you.
Please be more specific and we'll see if we can help you.

Have you tried the calculation option. Create a new calculation and name it what ever you want. In here call your prompt, then use the result in your filters not the prompt.
