Hi all,

It seems profiles on my Citrix server are not deleting when users log out. Some profiles show as "local" while others show "roaming". All my users have fixed profiles and the profile is mapped under terminal services profile in AD. Also, I have set a policy to delete profiles at logoff. I think this may be causing a problem where some files automatically open when users launch Office apps. Running Presentation Server 3.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Ok so I was able to delete the profiles after rebooting the server. Looks like there was a file in each users profile that was locked by the system. How can I prevent this from happening again?

I set my servers to reboot everynight. Then in the gpo I enabled the "Delete cached copies of roaming profiles". This way the server cleans out the roaming profiles every night.

Epic

Epic rebooting the server is not a feasible solution seeing as how I have users connecting at all hours of the night. I have the GPO applied to delete cached profiles but some profiles stay on the system.

UPH clean does work in WTS and Citrix environments. We use it on our Windows 2000, Citrix 1.8 and PS4 farms.

UPC clean works very need. We have it installed on all our Citrix boxes. Still we do a weekly reboot, out of habit....
