Is Outlook already part of the PC Image that is automatically getting installed on every PC or is it just getting installed on user PC's that are using MS outlook ?
If Outlook is already on a PC with basic Privilages the user should be able to set up outlook without a problem, No ?

Umm, If you are using win 2k Pro.. Just use the Paint program. It allows you to save the file as a JPG file. If you are trying to make the picture smaller and don't want to spend the time DL'n a 3rd part SW.
I use Paint to shrink Pictures all the time, and it does a great job for what I need.

What would happen if you set the link to open up in a different window and point it to the file that you want it to open up ???
And having IE "Amount of disk space to use set to 0", and having the window close after the DB is opened. Or the user manually closes the second window..

Have you check the C-mos setting ?
YOu might want to make sure that your AGP settings are either set to x2 or x4 if the motherboard is able to support it.
I would also check out the Motherboard Manufactur's web site and get the lastest BOIS and see if there are any know problems..

Have you tried to map manually to the Shared drives ?
Plus, is there any Firewall software running. You might want to make sure that the settings are correct..

I am still researching into this as well...
Bill,
Depending on the Age of the CD-Rom that you are using it may need to have the drives load, in which case you might have to make boot diskette's. Boot with a floppy or 98 and have Win 200 cd handy. I forget what directory you have to look in but, there is an option to make Win2000 boot...
