    StartTalk voicemail

I am wondering if there is a way to "defrag" or any other P.M type of stuff that can be done to the older startalk voice mil systems. I have a system that is doing some strange things, mailboxes get removed and other things... Thanks for any info! Eric

Voice mail answers, no AA (AGAIN) sorry!

Well, I just wanted to post the solution. I aquired and applied the redirect DN patch, and the problem is solved. I have no clue as to why that fixed it, but it is now answering with the auto attenandant. This would be a nice feature if you wanted to just provide a customer with remote...

Voice mail answers, no AA (AGAIN) sorry!

Ok, I have just upgraded a MICS and NAM II (Pent 100Mhz 32 Meg RAM) this last week. Now I have MICS XC 5.0 and 4.1 NAM II with 2 copper DVCs. The voice mail answers the line 147 as desired, but answers with "please enter your mailbox number and password" instead of the AA menu...

I had a REAL problem adding a Video card to the NAM II. The one with the SBC (has the 2 LEDs) You don't HAVE to use a ISA card, but if you use a PCI You need to change DIP switch 8 (second from the top) to up (points left when mounted on wall) I added the SiS card (piggy backs onto the SBC...

    Outbound notification/transfrer with PRI

I just wanted to say thanks, and to let everyone know that the upgrade from 4.0.04X to 4.1 is FREE and requires NO keycodes to do the upgrade. I have the needed upgrade disk and would be willing to provide a single ISO copy if there is someone that could/would host the file for others to D/L...

    Outbound notification/transfrer with PRI

This subject has been visted in the past, but I am now in the middle of making it work for my own company. I have tried pool 1,13,15 lines 1,5,24 all without any great deal of sucess. I setup a test mailbox with outbound transfer and set it to use line 24 (b-channel of PRI) and it works every...

    NAM 4.0 & NVM 4.0 not connecting

I am going to answer my own question here... You can't connect to the NAM until it has been on a system, and the init process has been completed. If you take it out of the box and try to hook up a PC there isn't any mailboxes, and so you can't enter 1020000 for he password, as the mailbox...

GETTING THE AA TO TRANSFER YOU INTO THE RAD

I just wanted to point out that you don't NEED to go to these lenghts to get into the fastrad. I did find the ATA way to be pritty good tho! :) If you call the office, using a analog phone hooked to the same line as the modem of the PC, the person answering simply dials the same feature code...

    NAM IP config

I am wondering if anyone knows how to change the IP address of the NAM though phone programing? I figured out how to enable the [K]eyboard [V]ideo and [M]ouse, which lets you then setup the IP for the network card. But some of my NAMs don't have the KVM card installed. Anyone have any ideas...
