I am having a problem a connecting to a new NAM. I am sure it has the latest software 4.0.0.4c? I can't seem to connect from my pc to the NAM using NVM 4.0 I have given the NAM an IP on my network. I can even telnet to the IP and get logged in. Is there something I am missing? I know it can work as I have a laptop that it is working fine on. I am using the NVM 4.0 from the NRU 9.0 Please help! When I try to connect it instantly tell me that "error comunicating with server. But if I unplug the cable from the NAM, it seems to try for longer. But once the cable is pluged back in NVM 4.0 software again fails. Is there a default password that I don't know????

Thanks!

Did you use the dummy Dial up Networking procedure first?

I am going to answer my own question here... You can't connect to the NAM until it has been on a system, and the init process has been completed. If you take it out of the box and try to hook up a PC there isn't any mailboxes, and so you can't enter 1020000 for he password, as the mailbox isn't created.

Thanks for the responce Curly!
