Is there a way to back up programming on a MICS 3.0? If so what is the procedure? I've found how to do it for my NAM but not the MICS.
Thanks for the input.
Hello
We have a old ICS 2.0 with a Startalk flash. We have a situation with a executive and his admin transfering his calls to voicemail. When he is on the phone he wants the admin to answer his calls. So her extension has a appearance for his DN. The problem is when she answers the call and...
She's tried 411 and 9 411. She gets no message about lines being restricted on the phone display. She ends up with a fast busy. I'm supporting this site remotely so I'm not able to experience this for myself. Thanks for the reply.
Hello
I have MICS 3.0 with a NVM. I am trying to allow a set to dial 411. First I created an override on the set for restriction 4 to allow 411 but that did not help. Then I went to the line pool that this set uses and created 411 overrides on all lines and she still cant get out to 411. Then...
Greetings
i have a MICS with a Norstar voice system 4.0. When we try to get messages from the general delivery mailbox we are getting the message "Mailbox in use". We reset the GDM password, tried to reset the system coordinator password but the system said "exiting the system" and would not...
I want to thank you all for your help. I’ve given up on the dang Startalk, now I’m giving this office an upgrade to a MICS with a NAM instead. A little over kill for this office but far less hassle in bringing this thing up. Thanks again and good luck to you all.
Yea I know that startup does the ICS and not the voicemail. I’m just grasping at straws. I am working with a M7310 on port 1. I have the Startalk hooked up to ports 14 and 15. I’ve only got the one software card port on the Startalk and I have removed and reseated a few times. I have had...
Thanks for your help guys. I’ve tried all thee above, even found a little pixy dust and brought in a voodoo priestess to chant a little mantra and sprinkle the dust. No luck getting the ICS to allow me to register the 900 codes but I have started to grow a tail. I’ve now switched out the ICS...
Thank you for your responses. Feature 903 gives me a Inactive feature message. As far as not compatible, do you think my software version on the ICS is to high?
Hello
i have a Startalk 4 port version 1.7 voicemail system that i'm trying to get hooked up to a ICS 4.0. I've done Feature **938378 to check status of feature codes and i now have the codes in a FREE status but they remain inactive. I've tried removing the 900 codes then booting the system...
No we dont. She only has her normal mailbox greeting recorded. Do you think there is another option to replacing that default "transfering to receptionist" message?
Thanks
