the command qtext toggles framing boxes around heavy font types like the one you're using to simplify drawing needs. the options in the command are on and off.
in Options > Display tab > Display preferneces there is a toggle box that is per drawing that says "show text...
there is a known issue in the database I believe under one of the really old versions. I didn't read the document myself, but was relayed the message by a fellow consultant.
If I remember correctly, you have to not only have office installed prior to Inventor, but you have to open the...
Hello,
I'm not a programmer, but I thought I might be able to help you a little and point you to the migration assistant. It might be able to convert you old lisp to the new form, but it does have limitations. Check out "dl401272" on the http://support.autodesk.com/enu/Homepage.asp...
I just wanted to let you know it worked wonderfully! For anyone else wanting to use this, If you have a title block in the .dwg file with text, you might want to block out only the text you want to come into Word. There's still a bunch of editting, but *WOW* it's awesome! ;-)

I apologise for a second post in a row, but I also found an issue on Autodesk's site that might apply. It's dealing with a Network install of Autocad, so if you're using the Network version, try looking here: http://support01.autodesk.com/ViewAnswerworks.asp then type ts17275 in the ask...
Hello, I don't know if your problem has been resolved yet, but another thought is to make sure you have your service pack for NT. I'm assuming that's NT4.0, if so there is SP5A now, make sure you have that installed. Also if you go to www.rainbow.com, they have the Sentinnal system driver...
Just a quick thought, you said you're running AutoCAD 2000, have you downloaded and applied all the patches from the Autodesk site? I know there were some issues that were fixed with the patches. There should be 4 that you need. (serv. pack, acad2000, 3d..., and plotting)
