All good suggestions. One detail I forgot to mention. I replaced the M7100 with an M7310. Verified that it maintained the same DN. The M7310 did not ring on an incoming. Replaced the M7100 and the ringing came back. Any more ideas?
My customer has a MICS 7.1. I have set all phones to appear only, with the M7100 courtesy phone set to NO line appearance. The voice mail is programmed to answer after 2 rings (to get the caller ID).
The M7100 still rings for the 1st 2 incoming rings on all calls. I have made sure that there...
Ynotphone, You're absolutly correct. Got me to thinking, so I created 4 phantoem DNs and made the appropriate people answer DNs to the phantoems. Works like a charm.
Have a customer with 4 hunt groups on a o x 32 rev. 6.1xc. Incoming answered by a fibre NAM. CCR option 1 goes to hunt group 01 (707). CCR option 2 goes to hunt group 2 (708) etc. If no one answers the call just rings and rings. Why isen't it going to a mail box if unanswered? Several extentions...
Has anyone found a way to find a lost installers code on a BCM yet. The HEX code tables for MICS and CICS are invaluable, but can't find similar tips for BCM.
Found your problem. On a MICS in maintenance: modules 1 and 2 are the K.S.U. itself. The expansion begins at module 3. Therefore your expansion is module 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. i.e. - 6 ports. To go beyond you need a second expansion card. If there are 2 - 6 port expansion cards installed then...
I'm assuming that you have 2 - 6 port expansion cards installed. I don't understand why you can't see ports 9 and 10, but remember that ports 11 and 12 are for companion only and can not be used for trunk or station modules.
The customer is not sure if the've picked up a live call or not. I'm going to extend their rings before AA so they can answer all calls live as an experiment then will re-post the problem with a narrower field of description of problem. Thanks everyone for the help so far.
I have a client with an MICS rev. 5.0 and a Flashtalk2 rev 2.0.01. The volume on inbound calls is very low when it goes through the AA. I've changed the Caller I.D. cards and the voice mail. The volume directly on the underground is fine. Any ideas?
