I'm using NRU 11 workbooks and when I configure the system size to 12 port, the configure hardware only shows up to module 8, which is only 6 ports. Anyone know how to configure these things or why that happens?

In the Excel spread sheets for the Norstar remote utilities, you have to enter the software version, then the size (non expanded, 2 port, 6 port, or 12 port), then the hardware. But the hardware only shows 8 modules when I choose 12 ports. So I can't get the programming for the whole system.

I'm assuming that you have 2 - 6 port expansion cards installed. I don't understand why you can't see ports 9 and 10, but remember that ports 11 and 12 are for companion only and can not be used for trunk or station modules.

Found your problem. On a MICS in maintenance: modules 1 and 2 are the K.S.U. itself. The expansion begins at module 3. Therefore your expansion is module 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. i.e. - 6 ports. To go beyond you need a second expansion card. If there are 2 - 6 port expansion cards installed then the system is not seeing the second one. Verify in module status that its not disabled!

The software version is CDA MICS XC 7.0.

The issue is the spreadsheet. When I choose 12 port expanded for system size, the screen for configure hardware only shows 6.

BTW Must be the software version that lets you use those last two ports for other than companion. I have an ASM and 0x16 on them.

I see....under ICS/Configure Hardware/Only lists 3 lops per 8 modules, only 6 modules listed.

I have never messed with that.
I have only configured Workbook (software) then Size (6 or 12 port) then went straight to Acquire.
Select Module and Harware from the Acquire.

Try that and see if it acquires all the ports.

By default they are Station mods on the Module tab at bottom.

7.0 and 7.1 now supports Station modules on ports 13 and 14.

I only get the option to choose B1 DN's 221-444. I have DN's beyond that. It isn't a critical issue, it's just that it's nice to be able to see all the line programming, target lines received digits, etc. all at once.

I think the reason is the second card can only be station modules, so no need for the cards to be configured. And I have gap in DN's, I think I might have to change that manually. Thanks for helping with my wild goose chase.
