We are using Ford Ranger trucks with toppers and one Toyota Tacoma since the Ranger was discontinued. However, any new vehicle will likely be a Kia Soul. They get good mileage and can carry a fair amount of gear, plus Kia's have a good warranty.
We have a ShoreTel 220T1A with Shoretel Director on Windows Server 2003 from a SME package from ShoreTel. Build 19.23.6202.0.
The time is correct on the Server and the telephone display. However, when a missed call happens the time displayed for the missed call is a couple of hours into the...
The carrier should be able to forward your PRI calls while you are on the phone with them....at least that has been my experience with Windstream, Brighthouse, TW, and Verizon when I have helped out clients. This is a standard thing for carriers to do for emergency situations as this is.
To directly answer the question, yes it does. The 4624 would be the VoIP version of the 4424. However, I do not think it is supported/compatible above V3 (or somewhere around there). But they may still work and they are super cheap now, around $50 or so for a refurb. I say give one a go on a...
You would use a Workgroup for the agents. They then can have log in and out button on their phone and will not need to use Communicator. But you need the Workgroup agent licenses.
I can make myself available....but I am not sure how much use I am. My limited knowledge of Zultys is based on a rep trying to get us to sell it instead of Avaya and Shoretel....which we were not interested in. He showed me some list pricing and brochures, but that was about 2 years ago now...
Is it a Zultys system? If so, then it is rather inexpensive, especially if you are comparing it to an IP Office with PC clients. If they did not desire the PC interface then the price may work out for the Avaya, but adding in things like that brings the cost higher.
Out of interest, if they...
Multitech has a lot of good products that may do something similar to what you are desiring. I doubt that they would give you handsfree between sites - but they can tie the sites together over the internet. I have not done this on Avaya, but have with Comdial DX-80 and it works fine for the...
It sounds like calls are being routed to the attendant if they are not answered. If a call is not answered after a certain amount of time (programmable) it goes somewhere, usually the attendant or voice mail. I believe that it could be changed to ring forever if that is what is desired.
Maybe you could explain how you use the second extension and why it was set up that way on CS1K? There may be a different way to accomplish the desired result.
Except you cannot download 14.2 software without buying a new ShoreTel server, being a vendor, or getting it from a vendor that according to the dealer agreement cannot be give/sell it like that....
The below was written in a post above about Director, but it applies to any version of Shoretel...
It sounds like you may have actually had two additional lines, one for each partner. If you did they would have been in "hunt" or "rotary" and then when your line was busy they would have rang to the voice mail, as you desire. As it is now, as Marv says, the call never even reaches your office...
