Business Element Manager 62.0.5 won't install on Windows 7 32 Bit

It appears to run and then says installation complete but does not actually install the software. I have a fresh download from the AVAYA support site. I feel like I am missing something stupid on this. Second problem is The Application Launcher web site will not launch and tells me I need Java...

8.1 and higher VM PRO Anti Virus

There is actually an IPO 9.1.0.0 Port Matrix Doc at the AVAYA support sight that I just found. APDS,ACIS,ACSS - BCM, CS1000, IPO, AURA Shoretel Certified Engineer

8.1 and higher VM PRO Anti Virus

I agree again and they have their own corporate AV. Is there something that tells what ports need to be open and what files need to not be scanned? APDS,ACIS,ACSS - BCM, CS1000, IPO, AURA Shoretel Certified Engineer

8.1 and higher VM PRO Anti Virus

Agreed again. But is there something that AVAYA has distributed to show what ports or files to not scan? Something at least? APDS,ACIS,ACSS - BCM, CS1000, IPO, AURA Shoretel Certified Engineer

8.1 and higher VM PRO Anti Virus

Agreed and this customer has been running without for a few years and now its an urgent situation and they want it. I am hoping there is some documentation to reference if AV does get loaded. The CS1000 Call pilot has an guide for what is supported. Hoping the IPO has something usefull...

8.1 and higher VM PRO Anti Virus

Can anyone point me to best practices and/or preferred anti virus software for windows based VM Pro machines? Not having much luck with Google or the Avaya Support Site. This forum always seems quicker and more accurate. Thanks! APDS,ACIS,ACSS - BCM, CS1000, IPO, AURA Shoretel Certified Engineer

New to Shoretel and need to pass the 3200 cert exam

Have you paid for and taken the 3200 course? If so your office may be able to get more chances. If you have not paid for the course and have not taken it then you will have to if you fail a third time. These exams are open book and the answers are there. Networking a BCM 450 Ver6 to an IP Office Ver 9.0 using SIP trunks

The guide curlycord is referring to, I followed to a tee and I have a BCM 450 V6 and IPO 9.0 running great in my lab. I even have a ShoreTel Release 14 working just fine with the IPO and BCM as well. APDS,ACIS,ACSS - BCM, CS1000, IPO, AURA Shoretel Certified Engineer

    BCM50e reset for password default

There is a password reset tool but you need Avaya Support to give you a specific file of the day to work with the reset tool. BTW Avaya's rates are 600.00 if you do not have PASS support on the unit. Option 2 is level 2 reset, reload patches, reload licenses, reprogram by hand. APDS,ACIS,ACSS -...

    BCM 3.6 - Bad Drive

$500.00 will get you a power supply and Hard Drive for the BCM. It is then just time to image the drive with 3.6 and restore the database and patches. Then it will run for years again. APDS,ACIS,ACSS - BCM, CS1000, IPO, AURA Shoretel Certified Engineer

BCM 450 Release 6 Losing and Gaining time

I have changed it to various times. It only seems to contact the NTP server when you make a program change to the NTP settings. After that it seems to never ever contact the NTP server again. Two weeks later and the clock is 4 minutes ahead again. APDS,ACIS,ACSS - BCM, CS1000, IPO, AURA...

    911 vs 9-911 - BCM 450 r6

I agree with Curlycord, Use destination codes. We make provisions to allow the customer to simply pick up the handset and dial 911 or 9-911 and both will route to the PSAP. Requires a little more destination code programming but it takes the thinking away from the customer and they will reach...
