Thanks for the replies. I needed to add an ACL to the Cisco router from Gamma's IP to ours. The call now remains connected once dialed but no sound (either ringing or voice) is heard on the IPO handset. Speech from the IPO handset is heard by the remote party though.

We are running R8.0 and using the Application Server for One-X and Voicemail. Using the Messages gadget I would like to save messages to a WAV file. Is this possible or is there an alternative?

I'm having the same issues, lower case g appeared on one user. tlpeter, why are lower case letters not good? Can you give an idea on what they mean?

I don't know enough about 4G or have any experience of using it, but latency will cause issues with 3G connections when trying to use VoIP.

Can I ask why a "VPN is not possible at the moment"? We have multiple sites connected to our office all linked with VPN's over broadband connections and the phones work well. There are only ever problems if the broadband connections play up, but that is usually down to issues with BT datacenters.

I'm having the same issue (see my post earlier today). When you say uninstall/reinstall, do you mean within the Application Server control panel (port 7070) or the application server as a whole? If the latter, how do I backup/preserve voicemail messages/call recordings?
