I'm trying to configure a second SIP trunk provider (Gamma) on IPO R8. I have added the line and use a short code to dial out. The call dials out fine and the destination presents the call but as soon as the call is dialed from the IPO handset the line clears.
Looking at a monitor trace I can see the IPO sending the request to Gamma but nothing coming the other way (which I guess is why it clears).
Any ideas?

Gamma require STUN or lots of port forwarding if I remember correctly, have you done that?

Thanks for the replies. I needed to add an ACL to the Cisco router from Gamma's IP to ours. The call now remains connected once dialed but no sound (either ringing or voice) is heard on the IPO handset. Speech from the IPO handset is heard by the remote party though.

You still need STUN and/or port forwarding I reckon, also turn off any H323 and SIP inspect maps/ALGs :)

Firewall/NAT problem incoming RTCP on ports 49152 till 53246 not forwarded to IP Office.

This is also the reason we don't like using Gamma SIP trunks, others work far better with NAT :)

Ok found it. There doesn't seem to be any NAT enabled on the router, instead the LAN2 of the IPO has a public IP address. The ACL's only permit traffic from certain hosts/networks and I added a single host IP (provided by Gamma) but when I looked at the trace I could see a second IP from Gamma. Once this was also added to the ACL everything works - happy days.

Thanks for the pointers much appreciated.

Sorry spoke too soon! That was getting the outgoing calls working but now I've tried incoming and that fails. I have setup an Incoming Call Route but the Monitor shows:

Present Call, no match (01234111222) from URI in To header or (01234111222) from request URI

Any ideas please?

You only had to set a * in the "Local URI" and create a ICR with the incoming Line ID of the SIP trunk and/or the right DID number.
