    I'm not familiar with the 250, but you may be on the right track. Earlier Mitels were set up to provide a long ring for outside calls and two shorter rings for internal calls. I remember a COS setting to make all calls ring the longer version.

    The 3300 embedded vmail is very much like the sx200. On the sx200, there is an option in admin to initialize the voicemail. Maybe that's what happened here? Don't give admin password to users, give manager password.

    Zoo1; see that I answered my own question in comment above yours. Your solution is not possible as it is not possible to get past the channel selection on an Aastra without selecting a channel.. Thanks for taking the time to answer.

    What model / version? Hint; Yes the line cards can develop problems. You need to identify which extensions are doing it and move them to different ports or replace the station cards.
