It used to happen infrequently, now it is happening every other day os so. The Web GUI on the conf bridge appears to lock up on any/all of our Nortel ICBs. Whn I lock up occurs we stat the card (see below), disable it, reseat it, then re-enable it. Then we are back in business until the next...
They are HP DL320s. We couldn't open them up because we couldn't take them out of service at the time but we assumed that these particular ones had 2 gig of RAM. HP Specs stated that they could go up to 8gb but vendor said 7.6 had an issue with expanding memory on them (assuming those memory...
KCFLHRC- you were 100% spot on. Thanks. The PD service had to be started on Sig Server 2, and that did the trick.
I raised concerns earlier w/vendor regarding TPS only on one sig server also, but it turns out according to our vendor, our sig servers are so old and constrained by memory that 7.6...
Thanks KCFLHRC. Still looking. I know we don't use/support personal directory feataure. what we did do during the install is to make the signaling server that was previously primary now the secondary, and the previously secondary one now the primary, and reconfigure where before one sig server...
We just upgraded from 7.5 to 7.6. When selecting the "callers" button on IP Phones, a "server error, try later" message appears on IP Phone display. Has anyone else encountered this? Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
What I figured. At the mercy of Telco to re-register a single DID. Re-mapping caller ID/ANI works. Re-mapping Calling party name does not. Probably has to do with which NI2 parameter Nortel wants to use versus what parm NI2 requires for transport of calling party name?
I'm trying to find out if there is a way to send out an overide calling party name over an NI2 PRI. I've played with. I've added a CPND name to the CLID table via UCM web GUI, but no luck. CNDA is set to Allowed.
Any ideas?
We've got 47 RLI defined on our system. When I tried to add a new RLI (RLI 48) I get an error. I know BARS allows for up to 128 (0-127) RLIs. Does anyone know if there is a local limit defined somewhere and if so how can I change this so I can add a couple of more RLIs?.
This is a great forum...
Just an fyi. On March 19th Avaya released a PCN against 7.5 stating the removal of patch MPLR32292 from all deplists as it caused MICB problems as well as CLID display problems. Will see......
Hmmm.... loadware was verified by Vendor remote technician. When the board was STAT'd the ports were showed up as logged out. Rolled back to 6.0 and now all three boards work. Will have to see what Avaya says.
Last night we went from Rls 6.o to 7.5. After we did the Nortel Conferencing stopped working. All three conferencing cards stopped working with 7.5. Put one side back to 6.0 and two of the conferencing cards started to work again. Don't want to fall back to 6.0 as we would have to rebuild all...
