thanks for the follow-up. I did fianlly resolve this in the morning by removing the mac address , rebooting phone and registering as a new handset which was "###1234 hold key". Typing in the MAC didnt initialize the self labeling for some reason..

We have a MXe running MCD 4.2 SP2 PR1 and Im setting up a new 5340 phone and the labeling doesn't appear. I have tried to label directly from the phone and via MCD web interface but nothing gets displayed on the phone. Any assistance would be appreciated.. thanks
