Hello everybody!
In short: Can not install TAPI driver at my computer Win7 x64. After installation and reboot still can not see IP Office in phone providers list.

Detailed description: I'm trying to integrate CRM with Ip Office. I found out that I need to use library for that, but first TAPI driver has to be installed. And that's the place where I'm stocked.
Spent already 2 days trying to figure it out what's the problem, and about 4 hours reading this forum.
I have Windows 7 Home Premium x64. Also tried to install driver at couple other machines with Win 7 x64, the same problem.
Tried almost everything: installed, reinstalled, Admin privileges, Compatibility XP Sp2/3 modes. Nothing helped. On Win XP however installation worked just fine.

Found that installer made folder at C:\Program Files (x86)\Avaya\IP Office\TAPI with 3 files in it, tspi3w.tsp included. (2 others are: it.exe, uit.dll)
I made a copy of this file in \system32 directory and added 2 keys in registry (made copy as on XP). Restart Telephone service and provider appeared in the list, but without possibility to edit or delete it. (please, check picture)

Any help is greatly appreciated!

When i install tapi then it is tapi2 and not tapi3.
64bit can be a bit trouble but should work fine.
Sometimes deinstalling it after the installation and then reinstall works.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

And what it is the way to get tapi3?

As I told, I have tried to install, uninstall, install again couple times. I did that on 2 computers, but it didn't help me.
Thx!

That's nice piece of software, but it have to be our own solution.

That's the place where I got it.
Was confused by tlpeter, when he said that it's tapi2. It's wrong, at my x86 computer provider is TAPI3.
So the problem that TAPI3Install.exe downloaded from Avaya dev connect site for Ip Office 8.1 doesn't work at any win7 x64.

intigrant, thx a lot! I installed it and in Phone Providers list I can see "TAPI2 Service Provider"

I'm very new to telephony, so I'm sorry for probably newbie questions.
1) I'm developing remotely. Now after configuring TAPI2 for single user, do I need a real phone connected to the Ip Office for testing? Or instead of it I can use Softphone from Avaya (as I know, I need a license for it)? I want to make a call using dialer from my machine and see it in call logs.

2) The phone connected to Avaya is in the remote office, I set password for user. Any other options has to be set, to enable working with the phone?

3) For testing purposes I want to initiate a call using Windows Dialer. In Tools -> Connect Using it gives me five options (Agile VPN, PPTP, Ras PPOE Line, SSTP, Wan Miniport (L2TP)). I read this , but no answer there were found. Looks like I have the same issue.

May be there are another way you would recommend me to use with Ip Office?
All I need is notification of incoming call with the phone number and initiate a phone call.
I read about DMCC .Net SDK, but looks like it's not working with Ip Office. Thanks!
