win2000 cold start..

everytime i boot from a cold start in win2k i get a blue screen of death ..stating

page fault in non paged area, address 804a3a28, base at 80400000, datestamp 3ad7ad60-ntoskrnl.exe" thats as much of the error i get, when it boots still it also moans about c:|programfiles\symantec\symevent.sys could not locate the entry point IO getrelated device object in ??

and also moans about xmode,
so usually i have to boot into windows me let that crash then 2k is fine..

Have you recently installed PCanywhere? If so, boot into safe mode and uninstall PCA, then boot into w2k and reinstall.
