Voicemail Service will not start

Getting the following message when trying to start the service:

The Voicemail Pro Service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some Services stop automatically if they have no work to do, for example, the Performance Logs and Alerts service.

You need to give more info.
I have had a strange issue lately where the CPU went sky high without any specific reason.
This trying to find out what was going on.

Might be a corrupted database issue, try with a default database. If it runs you know the answer if it doesn't then reinstall and try again, if that doesn't then go home faking a terrible headache...

Intrigrant, i had a corrupted database but also no connection to the IPO with SSA and manager.
Default database did not work either.
Or the latest 8.1 version is a ghost version or the PC is lame.
I was connected by teamviewer and suddenly it was gone and VM was broken.

Then start with removing the latest updates and turn it off.
Do you use RDP to the server?

i always ask for it but rarely get it done.
But i always warn the customer that Linux is more stable but they are afraid of it.

Never allow RDP, I have logmein to the server. We are running many clients with an apps server, but this was not an available option to us in this case.

Another odd thing, Manager also does not work on this server, but System Status does. I am going to attempt to remove the updates and put in a default .mdb file.

I had this problem two weeks ago so check for those updates.
