We have a General delivery mailbox (1999) that was previously working. Don't know how long it's been out.
When a user dials "0" to get to the receptionist it routs to cov path 15. Cov path 15 routs to cov answer 15 that currently has 1 extension then to VDN 3013 that sends the call vector 15 that routs to ext 1999.

If I dial 3013 the calls routs as it should. When unanswered it goes to mailbox 1999 like I am wanting.
If I dial 0 the call routs as it should until the call goes unanswered.
If it is not answered it goes to voicemail but not mailbox 1999. If the call is from the inside it goes to the callers mailbox. If it is from the outside it goes to the mailbox attendant asking you to enter your mailbox.
The list trace below is the inside caller dialing 0.
I have copied ext 0 and configured this setup with a different extension and it works as it should.
I am missing something with ext 0

My only hesitation to that is it works when I assign the config to a different extension.
I would think I would have the same issue.
It's like 0 is not defined in AMM or the CM somewhere.
I'm kinda leaning AMM but don't know where to find it.

The trace you provided also shows you are shoving the call through the public unknown table. Is there a reason you are doing it this way? That is probably why its not rolling to voicemail correctly.

I saw that and honestly I don't know how that is happening.
Strange thing is the trace for the working call is the same.

is 0 in your dialplan? How is it routing? The command: Display dialplan analysis

Is it in your UDP table? command: list uniform-dialplan

The issue is definitely because you are passing it through the public unknown table. Try adding it to the UDP table.

You also have this set to Y. Change it to N.

When I try to add it to the UDP table I get an error...
Len may be '1' or '2' only when the Insert Digits contain an 'Lx" value

Changing to y the call disconnects when it hits the VDN

Also, your vector is the problem.
route-to number 1999 cov y if unconditionally

You want the following line. Change Skill 199 to whatever your voicemail hunt group is.
Messaging skill 199 for extension 1999

I am getting the same results.
I really think it has something to do with the ext "0"
I can take the same coverage path and apply it to another extension and it works.
I also duplicated ext 0 to a different extension and used the same coverage path and it works.
That tells me something is up with "0"
Is there anywhere that I can find what the default attendant is or what 0 would be seen as either in CM or AM?

You have a lot of redirections. Your dialplan has 0 as ext. You could change it to attd and then "add attendant 1" for example. You might want to do some research first if you go down the attendant route.

You can also change extension 0 from a virtual to a regular extension. Add a coverage path to it that just routes to voicemail. Create a voicemail account for extension 0. Also create a bridged appearance on your receptionist's phone for extension 0.
