Visual Foxpro and PDF forms containing data

Hi there, I am working on an application that would be a lot better if I had the ability to capture data from pdf forms. I am currently looking at Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional. It looks as if this program allows exporting of data. Does Visual Foxpro (or any add-on programs) offer this ability or would I need to use that program to first export the data before I could import it into my application? I would like to have the ability to create PDF forms with data entry capability AND also retreive data from existing PDF forms. Thanks for any information you may provide.

I couldn't get to that thread and have been unable to figure out why. However, I WAS able to get to the Visual Foxpro Zone and read about the end of Visual Foxpro. Now, I have a NEW question. WHAT DO WE DO WITH ALL OUR VISUAL FOXPRO APPLICATIONS? I am NOT PLEASED I have spent years upgrading my Foxpro 2.6 applications to Visual Foxpro and now I'm not sure what direction to go. Forget the new application. What do I do with the old ones?

kimsue? Are you saying, that you had no idea of No VFP10? We had a thread here in VFP in General forum.

to sign the petition to at least show your support for VFP.

Now, back to your question. I can do more searches on other forums and I also think there could be even FAQ here about PDF forms, but if you want to check the thread on UT I pointed you to, you have to have an account on that forum. On most of other forums you can access the content without an account.

Ok, I found tons of great FAQs in all VFP forums here, but nothing related to PDF Forms. Use my first reference then.

Thanks, I WAS able to get to the thread and I did sign the petition. However, I don't know if I want to continue with my new Visual Foxpro application after reading the scoop on Visual Foxpro. I guess I was a little slow in getting the information. It's been a while since I've been on any Foxpro forums or Microsoft's website C'est la vie

I've been seeing the same message. I suspect it's some kind of bug in the UT system. I certainly haven't changed any security settings recently.

I think in order for the link to work you have to have UT open. The link is unaccessible without a login first.
