Our G3v8 is telling me that it is limited to 10 VDN's. That is not enough for the fax server we are trying to setup. Any clues how to increase this limit?

will likely have to purchase the rights to more from avaya. do a 'disp cap' and it will tell you how many vdn's you can have on your system. it is on page 3 on my system.

thanks, tim

There is no RTU associated with VDNs. Is it possible that your CMS Data Storage Allocation (DSA) is set to a maximum of 10 VDNs?

Kevin

glcpark,

are you sure you haven't confused vdns with vectors?

Yes, I am 90% certain I don't have them confused. (I am new to this, though.)

Here is what display capacity shows:

Vector Directory Numbers: 10 0 10
Vectors Per System: 8 2 10

glcpark,

well, it seems to me that you have old release upgraded from an ancient release. and afaik the only thing you could do is to upgrade it again to the latest release. this would lift the curse and give you all vdns and vectors possible for this platform.
