It's time again for a new thread for the most popular Tek-Tips topic ever.

How do you like this ironic plate?:

Hi,
OK, I guess its back to the 'shine for me.....( enough of that and anything tastes good - if you can still taste [smile])

On an Isuzu Rodeo: LVNG2LVE

Not sure what vowel or vowel combination he intended: living to live, living to love, loving to love, or the bath addict (living to lave). [bigsmile]

What to me seems like an obvious Beatles reference:

AAYJUDE

~
“Your request is not unlike your lower intestine: stinky, and loaded with danger.” — Ace Ventura.

Opieo, that reminds me of a guy I once knew whose plate read "HEYJUDE" but he swore the Beatles reference was just a coincidence - his wife was named Judy and he called her "Jude".

Cool Hand Luke said:
"Dyin'? Boy, He can have this little life any time He wants to. Do Ya hear that? Are ya hearin' it? Come on. You're welcome to it, Ol' Timer. Let me know You're up there. Come on. Love me, hate me, kill me, anything. Just let me know it... I'm just standin' in the rain talkin' to myself."

Saw on a motorcycle: XITBIK

Took me a few minutes to get the old Atari reference.
Excite bike!

__________
Veni, Vidi, Visa: I came, I saw, I charged it.

On a huge Toyota pickup truck:
[tab]4X4 TOY

I'm guess that refers not only to the fact that it's a TOYota, but also that it's his grown-up toy.

Oh, and on the way home from Charlotte Saturday we say this on the back of a blue Jetta:

[tab]HRLYGIRL

Hourly girl. My wife and I wondered what she charged per hour....

She had a Duke license plate frame. And that school is not cheap. We kidded that maybe she was turning tricks to pay tuition.

Duke license plate + HRLYGIRL. I'm thinking she's a Bobby Hurley fan.

SamBones:

That would be even funnier if the owner lived in Beaver Falls, PA (Joe Namath's hometown).

Today on a Hyundai: FRMAUNTY

This isn't a personalized plate, but I had a license plate frame made for my motorcycle (a Honda VFR800) that says...

There are no atheists at 150 MPH!

Something diabolically fun about a vehicle that can go that fast and that you cling to the outside of to ride.
