Another gold-"plated" milestone...We're starting our Lucky 13th Vanity Plates thread (since our previous thread has exceeded 100 posts and is slow in loading).

Over Spring Break we travelled from Utah to Phoenix (via Las Vegas)...Saw these great plates/tags:

Code:
[b]SLZBAG[/B] (On an Arizona Ford SUV)

[b]JAGROAR[/B] (On an Arizona Jaguar Sovereign)

[b]SSAFLAH[/B] (On a Nevada car which I didn't get until I read it in my rear-view mirror)

For those of you who have never seen a ball game (from the USA) it is John 3:16.

Huh?!? I understand what John 3:16 is referring to. I have no idea what the ball game reference means.

Go to almost any sporting event in the USA and you'll see the "Rainbow Man" (aka Rollen Stewart)

Oh, ok. I feel kind of silly pointing this out, but I believe "John 3:16" is referring to a certain chapter and verse in a well known book, and not some nut with a rainbow wig in the 70's and 80's.

Absolutely.

You asked about the ball game reference and that reference is to Rainbow Man, who himself references John 3:16 at sporting events, i.e., ball games, on his t-shirt or by holding up signs for the camera.

As we are from many different places, I wanted to be politically correct and not bring up the reference material directly.

Saw this on the way into work this morning...
VMPHNT - Vampire Hunter?

On a red Chevy Cavalier - RED FOX with a red fox stuffed toy perched in the back window.

Hope this helps.

It'd be cool if RED FOX were registered to someone named Sanford.
(Incidentally, for you TV trivia buffs, Redd Foxx's real name was John Sanford).

Is that why his show was Sanford & Son?

I keep trying to do something about my procrastination but I keep putting it off until tomorrow.

Saw this on the drive into work this morning...
PET PAL
It was on a SUV with a Pet Friendly specialty plate (Indiana has a wide variety of specialty plates).

If you see a Florida plate "REXX WIZ", wave at me ;-)

A colleague spotted (and photographed!) this apparently geeky one in front of him the other day:

NDR 01D

It is very possibly accidental judging by the age of the car and its compliance with normal plate numbers here...
