Yet again, it's time for a new thread for the ever-popular Vanity Plates series...Over 800 posts so far...Wow! More than a trilogy, more than a quadilogy, quintilogy, sexilogy (Woo-hoo!), septilogy, octilogy...it's now a nonilogy.

Also...

Over the weekend I saw SANTA on a red truck.
either it was Dave riding around or (since it is Xmas time) it was the Coca-Cola truck...
I wish I could say that it was I, but this Santa drives a blue Honda Pilot.

Slip indeed. Last few days have been around 15-35F.
And yesterday I think they had the heat turned off in our office. I do not get cold easily but yesterday I was freezing.

So it was more of a F - F - F - F - Freudian slip.

Maybe he should have gotten a better car then. [wink]

I don't know about you, but that's one "toy" I would LOVE to see under my Christmas tree.

This morning I saw THATZ HOT on a Honda. It is slightly ironic, since the plate was from Florida, and I'm in NJ, where we just had a blizzard. It was the second largest snowfall in history here (23.2 inches, the record was in January 1996 with over 30 inches).

Saw this...

INCGNTO

...on a Maseratti Quatroport. Not a very incognito type of automobile.

Looking at some plates you mention here it seams to me that States have different limits to number of letters/numbers on their plates. Here where I live (IA) we only have the limit of 7 characters on the car's plate :-(

Have fun.

Yes, all states have different rules.
Some even allow special characters (North Carolina I think? Maybe? Could be wrong, one of the states somebody listed from allows it).
Here in Michigan we have an interesting set of what is allowed and not allowed. It all can be found on our Secretary of State's website.

Saw a great one this weekend:

OOOPS

Oh I'd like to know the story behind that plate.

Saw this one and wasn't too sure how to decode it. It had the "Heart" special symbol.

Would that be "Free to not love"? Actually, I first read it as "Frequent Love" (the "2" being a capital "Q" in script).

What do all y'all think?

Perfect! Thanks!

Never thought of checking the emoticons for a heart!

Happy New Year all. My first day back to work after Christmas/New Year's break, and I saw this one on the drive in...
I C H8RS
It was on a Buick sedan...IMO, there was nothing to be H8N about.

How about "free tonight" - free for a little loving
I was thinking more along the lines of "Free to not love" (pessimistic, I know).

This morning, I spotted REVENGE (perhaps another marriage gone splitsville)?

I saw dozens while I was on vacation but the only one I can remember is LYKFISHN with a lot of angler type stickers on the back windows.

The plates were from Michigan or Minnestoa or something up north and cold. Even if I were inclined to like fishing I darn sure wouldn't want to do it up there!

Hi,
I take exception to this:

As a native ( if former) Minnesotan, let me advise you that you would be missing some of the best fishing in the country.

10,000+ lakes, rivers and trout streams make good spots and, even in winter, the ice fishing is great ( especially the drinking part [wink] ).

Give it a try...
