Avaya IP Office essential edition Ver 9.0.5.0 R.9.0
Using Valcom V-2901A UNIVERSAL DOOR ANSWERING SYSTEM
I have the Tip Ring from the valcom going into analog CO port 4 on the Avaya.
In LINE programming of the Avaya UI I changed the Incoming AND Outgoing group ID to 1 (LINE ID 702)
On a 1416 digital station button programming tab I assign
ACTION: "LINE APPEARANCE"
ACTION DATA: 702 IMMEDIATE
Now when someone pushes the button AT THE DOOR the phone will NOT RING, it ONLY illuminates the digital station button you can answer it, talk AND release the DOOR.
It Just wont RING, im going NUCK-N-FUTZ!!! HELP!!!!,
