I am trying to turn up an ISDN PRI. When I test the baord it fails test 138 with error code 1300. The problem is thought that the D channel is up, all B channels are in service and I can make inbound and outbound calls across this circuit.

The DS1 is set for protocol (b) [NI2] and the supplemetary services protocol is set for (a) [AT&T]. The LEC is AT&T. I verfied there no loops with the carrier and that their settings match what I have.

If the 138 alarm is real then it seems like the circuit would be down or at lease calls would fail.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Resolved:

It was simply that the CSU setting was set to integrated but there is no 120A on the back of the circuit pack. I change it to "other" on the DS1 form and the 138 alarm clearned.
