I am
Version-9.0.12.0_to_9.1.12.0_xqbhue.png
facing issue in the upgrade for Avaya IPO 500 form version 9.0.5.0 to the latest version 11.
We processed with the minor upgrade from 9.0.5.0 to 9.0.7.0 and then 9.0.12.0 but when we try to upgrade to 9.1 or 10.0.X.X we encounter the some files are not upgradeable like the modules part i.e. ANALOG POTS8+, DIGITAL S0x8, DIG DCPx8.

Checked the compatibility matrix
PBX = IP Office 500V2
Modules Card = ATM4V2

But these bin file are missing during upgrade.

Thanks @Iamsherpa
how can I use the embedded file? Can you please tell me the steps that how I can do it?

Many Thanks

Sorry but you need to tell us what those modules are? I suspect they are amongst the set of IP400 modules that Avaya haven't supported for a long time.

From the R9.1 Release Bulletin:

"Note: IP Office Release 9.1 will no longer support the following legacy IP 400 modules:
• Phone 8/16/30
• DS 16/30
• DIGITAL S0x8 and DIGITAL S0x16
• Extension/VCM Carrier"

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Dear @sizbut
These module are for line connection where physical lines are connected.
module name is ATM4V2 Part No. DS(1-6)700504556

No. Your screenshot and question was about the ANALOG POTS8+, DIGITAL S0x8, DIG DCPx8 firmware. All of which are the IP400 External Expansion Modules that are no longer supported in R9.1 and higher. If you don't have any in your system then no issue.

An ATM4 V2 is an internal card inside the IP500 V2 and its will upgrade using the control unit firmware file. The upgrade won't show it as a separate firmware that needs to be upgraded.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Many Thanks @Sizbut <3

If I upgrade the system as the same it show in the screenshot the internal module will not affect right?
the internal module ATM4 V2 will upgrade automatically once I upgrade the firmware to 10 or higher.

Yes. The control unit firmware file includes the firmware for the base and trunk cards that can be installed inside the control unit.

The other firmware files are for the external control units, as the control unit needs to send the separate files to those units if they are attached to it.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Thank you so much @Sizbut.

I will upgrade the same while skipping these missing file as shown in the screenshot.
I hope everything will work fine by skipping these upgrade.
