I received an update from the T4 engineering that the release 12.1 has been delayed TENTATIVELY by 2 weeks (till 25th November) for GA since there were some high priority issues detected, forming the reason of this change of plans.

Hello all,
We open a SR to ask how we can upgrade IPO Servers from 12.0 to 12.1. The answer was :
"The .vmdk transfer method is only while upgrading from 11.1.3.x to 12.0 as there is a OS change from CentOS7 to RockyLinux. Hence, while upgrading from IPO v12.0 to 12.1, the normal .iso transfer method should work fine." .
At the moment we haven't try it...

I was "brave" and upgraded a server edition system and a 500V2 both to 12.1 using the ISO transfer for the server. It all went off without a hitch.
