in Europe, look for a Reflection dealer and maybe take a look. Good software, easy to use and has enough features to do what you're looking for probably. I've never seen Focus so can't tell you there, know more about POSitouch as we sell that. Closer to the higher end but has more features than most POS systems and easy to integrate other software to.
Absolutely agree with Coorsman on the 'Free Systems'. Harbourtouch for example is a slimmed down version of I think SilverWare which isn't that good in the full version. Software as a Service is not too bad, more like a lease and at the end you should have a buy out or be able to replace the entire system and start new again, probably cheaper the second time because you won't need training or much for reprogramming. SaS is more expensive than just buying or the old style lease but you do get the support and repairs. You won't find yourself on the message boards as much if you have a good software and hardware contract. You just have to do your numbers.
