Upgrade from 4.2 to 9.1

All,

We are looking at the above upgrade. Would anyone mind helping with the following questions?:

1. Which OS do the IPOCC and VM Pro servers users?
2. With the VM Pro is possible to create different users and allow them access to only certain modules?
3. Is it possible to create users within the ip office manager and only allow them access to certain users and hunt groups?
4. Does VM Pro still store the recordings as wav files in individual mailbox folders?

I was aware of that as we are working with a BP. I could have asked my questions to our BP, I just thought I might be able to get some info here. It seems not.

Your questions sound you want to have a multi tenant system (allow security users to only administer some users/groups, allow VMPro users to only administer some modules). IPO is not able to act as a multi tenant system!

Alrighty then.

1) Don't go there, it's not worth it (IMO)
2) Users are created in the IPO, so yes. (But you're probably thinking of Administrators, and you may restrict them to 3 different levels)
3) You mean dial only a selected group of extn? Not by default, but there are ways to circumvent that.
4) Recordings of what? Names? Vmails?
