You can set your station with console permissions and COS as MERIDIAN11C states, but if the system is a remote you can also use the remote access feature to do this, just ensure that you have a good barrier code established then set console permission and COS to the barrier code .. I do this constantly for that same reason.. people always forget what the FAC is or the leave on vacation and need it turned off...

To activate:
1. Dial *82 (hear dialtone)
2. Dial user extension number plus the pound(#) key (hear silence)
3. Dial user SSC number plus the pound(#) key (hear dialtone)
4. Dial forward to number (hear confirmation tone)
To deactivate:
1. Dial *83 (hear dialtone)
2. Dial user extension number plus the pound(#) key (hear silence)
3. Dial user SSC number plus the pound(#) key (hear confirmation tone)
