I can't seem to get this IPO 500 to send VMs to email. Using Embedded Voicemail in IP Office Mode in IPO 9.1.

I looked in the Monitor and found this...

615721mS LVMail: Notify: Susan2 New: 92 Old: 0 Saved: 0
615721mS LVMail: Message recorded. Email mode(2) Addr(general.info@acerentalmanagement.com) Locale(enu)
615721mS LVM(email): VM Email request added to queue - size = 1
615724mS LVM(email): LvmEmailManager woken up...
615724mS LVM(email): LvmEmailManager ProcessNewMessage: From(14095409870) To(Susan2) Mode(2)
615955mS LVM(email): Send SMTP message
615956mS LVM(email): LvmEmailManager ProcessNewMessage: Message start(9652c) 1st read(9652d) end read(96582) audio(96613) end(96614) duration(232) audio size(42240)
615956mS LVM(email): LvmEmailManager snoozing...

It looks like the LvmEmailManager isn't actually sending the SMTP message, just goes back to snooze. Am I missing a filter on my monitor or is something else amiss here?

which build of V9.1?
Are you sure your SMTP configuration is correct?

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Had this just yesterday. If for what ever reason embedded can't connnect it will stop trying after about 5 tries. The only solution is a reboot.
Assuming it used to work. If it have never worked verify the DNS and IP routing.

Dermis and feline can be divorced by manifold methods.*

While you're in monitor, select filters, go to the Services tab, and check SMDR. Now you can actually see the messages and activity between the IPO and the SMTP server. Maybe it's being sent but rejected at the other end?

This is 9.1.12. SMTP configuration is pointing to the Exchange server IP address, set for port 25, account with credentials has been entered.

DNS and IP routing have both been confirmed. I have changed the settings several times (trying other e-mail addresses on the Exchange), which causes the PBX to reboot in order to push the update.

I'll add the SMTP filter to the monitor. That's probably what I am missing.

Added the SMTP filter to the Monitor and saw this:

570559mS SMTP: Expected to receive 334, but received response of 504, or an ill-formed response

So I unchecked Server Requires Authentication and BAM! VM to Email was sent.

Thanks TTTommy!
