Florian, you will not find much in the Help files, this came from documentation.
It's listed in Knowledge Base, but the German downloaded links are now broken...go figure.

I'll upload the German files if you want them.

Kind regards

Gunnar

I usually use English documentation ;-)

You should use the Russian ones it seems :)

Hah! That's why it was so familiar! We had a small chocolate bar called exactly that when I was a kid.

My quick tests have shown that set/clear huntgroup ns still work even when using a time profile but the manage does not display a NS icon for the group when active.

I can see that causing some interesting faults, especially on system upgraded from earlier releases

Strange, I tested some 20 different HG in TP, nothing happend.
Hot to do another run then.

Anything special to it? Like user has the H<HG> in source code, etc?

Kind regards

Gunnar

no I just dialed *20*200# & my group started ringing the NS fall back destination as expected.

BTW I think I am missing somthing though, I cannot find a button feature to set the time profile override & & cant locate Status to assign to a button either

where have Avaya hidden these options?

Found time profile , but it just gives a blank screen on 1 5410 when pressed.

I guess this is only supported on newer handsets

In the user settings you can set what groups a user can set to night/out of service etc. when you do this it brings up status as a softkey on supported sets such as 14/16xx and 95/96xx :)

I just ran another test on a brand new HG 400, gave the user all permissions, still pushing the NS button or *20*400# did nothing (as expected per the docs).

Did you upgrade your IPO from R9.0, or is it a fresh config directly on R9.1 (there is a difference, mind you)

Kind regards

Gunnar

Those permissions are for the Status button :)

All permissions, as in Level 2, member of HG, source code, and all the above:)

It was an upgrade
I will do an "Erase Config" & see what happens

Ran new tests yesterday, on my two systems nothing happens when dialling *20*N# as long as a TP has been assign to the HG. (But when TP is removed, it works ofc)

Indeed works on an upgrade but not on a clean install

That will avoid a lot potential issues with any upgrades, Quite clever & sensible thinking from Avaya, I wonder what went wrong ;-)

I am beginning to look forward to seeing it in the field

Also the forced pin code on Extensions (not just user) is fun, that only applies to clean installs.
Plus, on clean installs the Power User/Teleworker does not give any Softphone licenses, you need to step down to R8.1 / R9.0, then back up.

Back to the test bench then, at least it keeps me busy...

Kind regards

I read the gunnar doc, it's clear how (should) work, but...

Manager --> Only "latch option" is working (Actine/Unactive until next do not)
Short codes --> Absolutely no result
System DTE defaulted and new config from scratch

Logging with monitor it seems shorts do not match with the Time Profile Name and there is a mismatch with the user who activate the shorts, for example:

Username: Ambrogio, #201
Time Profile Name: "Standard Week"
18:17:29 2074586mS CMExtnEvt: Ambrogio: ProcessShortCode feature=TPLatchActive id=Standard Week

Username: Ambrogio, #201
Time Profile Name: "Monday Friday"
18:19:49 2214976mS CMExtnEvt: Ambrogio: ProcessShortCode feature=TPLatchActive id=Mo

Username: Ambrogio, #201
Time Profile Name: "Monday Frifday"
18:25:49 2574949mS CMExtnEvt: Ambrogio: ProcessShortCode feature=TPLatchActive id=BAmbrogio

The feat "id" does not match with the Time profile name because truncated or mismatched with the user who dial the short

What if you take the spaces out the Time Profile names? I never use spaces with IPO where it's used for any kind of feature/function :)

Same issue, even if you use 1 word description (TIME, BUSINESS, XMAS, ect)
