Did you re-upgrade too? Including Manager suite? I'd start there

Kind regards

I created the SD from scratch and loaded all system files, then defaulted it all (password+config) and re-programmed as a new system.
To be honest I didn't re-installed Manager, 'cause I think is a core issue

Possibly, or you have a config issue. (Could it be Locale related? Who knows...)
I'll be happy to load your config onto one of my systems, just to verify.

Kind regards

Gunnar

I did another test, if the Time profile is called "Tempo" the action made by IPO is:
10:08:32 6176244mS CMExtnEvt: Ambrogio: ProcessShortCode feature=TPLatchActive id=T201mpo

To check if the Time profile name record is passed through correctly by Manager i tried exporting the config in a csv file: the Time name is correctly reported.

So, it's inserting the extn number or name in the TP id. That's really messed up.

What Locale are you running, and is it VMPro or Embedded?

Kind regards

Gunnar

Italian + vmpro (ucm)

Thought so ---> Tempo [smile]

I'll change the locale and see if that has any impact.

Kind regards

Works as expected on my system, though I don't use UCM.

CMExtnEvt: Ambrogio: ProcessShortCode feature=TPLatchActive id=Tempo
CMExtnEvt: Ambrogio: ProcessShortCode feature=TPLatchInactive id=Tempo
CMExtnEvt: Ambrogio: ProcessShortCode feature=TPActiveTillInactive id=Tempo
CMExtnEvt: Ambrogio: ProcessShortCode feature=TPInactiveTillActive id=Tempo
CMExtnEvt: Ambrogio: ProcessShortCode feature=TpTimedOperation id=Tempo

I'm guessing either your Manager is messing up things or your config is faulty.
(I take it you have rebooted the system)

Kind regards

Gunnar

I tried with different machines and different Managers, doesn't matter the config and the ucm.

Because pulling the config and exporting the ipo dbase all seems correct I suppose is a software mismatch for which I will try to raise to Avaya.

Anyway thank you Gunnar, you supported me more than a colleague, pink!

No problem [smile]

If Avaya comes up with anything useful, do tell us.

Kind regards

Gunnar

TT member Daken pointed out a very important parameter when using Short Codes to set a Time Profile.
Maybe obvious to some, but the Time_Profile_Name has to be inside quotation marks.

SC Example:

Code : *200*
Featr: Set Latch Active...
TNumb: "Night@TheMuseum" (with the "")
LG ID: 0

Tested a few combos of TP-names without quotation:

Tempo => T<EXTN>mpo
Night@TheMuseum => ght
abcdefghijklmno => b
cdefghijklmno => cdefghijklmno
cefghijklmno => <EXTN>fgh
pqrstuvwxyz => pqrt<NAME>vzyz
wxyz => xy

Ergo, some combinations work, some doesn't, no logic.
Stick to the "" to be on the safe side.

And here's another little trick:
If you have assigned a Short Code to a Time Profile and you change that TP's name, the Short Code will automatically be updated as well. (probably a bug, but nice one though)

Kind regards

Gunnar
