WIN2K on Dell 1.6/128 opens system32 folder on startup. Clsoing and rebooting does not help. Run/Rin Once entries in registry indicate no system32 call.

Need help in restricting this from opening.

Whoops, still have my head in xp. If you can find a copy of xp, I think itll work on 2000.

I am having the same problem, but the My Documents folder opens instead of System32.

I have:
deleted all of the Run and Runonce keys in the registry,
checked the startup folder,
logged on as Administrator and closed all windows,
rebooted several times,
tried to install another program and leave the My Documents folder open so that when the computer automatically reboots, it wants to close the folder,
and the folder still pops up.

This is happening on a Windows 2000 Terminal server, so it's kind of a big deal!

Please pass any bright ideas my way ;)
