System Avaya IPO 11.04.01 (System upgraded over the weekend to 11. Everything worked previous to upgrade from 8.1.57.)
1 Combo Card
3 Digital 8
1 PRI Daughter card

At present we can't get GROUP voicemail to allow us to log in from an internal extension, we can use the DID number that points to voicemail collect to access the GROUP Mailbox externally.

Yes the extension is in the hunt group
Yes source numbers have been added
Yes there is a short code
Yes the group works

But, NO internal VM access. Keep getting "Contact Administrator" via voice prompt after entering MB Number# and Password#. I know both the MB Number and Password are good as they work from an outside line using DID. We have also tried deleting the groups and rebuilding them without success.
This applies to all 6 groups and happens on any telephone.

Try changing the voicemail password to something more complex (odd it works externally but Id still try it). R8.1 was not nearly as strict as R11 is on passwords. R11 needs 6 digits and no more then 3 digits sequential and some other rules. A simple test password you can try would be 123654.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Yea, I've tried that too. BTW Avaya IPO 11 won't let one use 123456 or the extension or 6666666.

I think you misread what I wrote as a password to try. Not 123456, 123654 works in R11.

Have you tried switching the mode to intuity and see if it changed behavior at all?

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Critchey, my apologizes! I need new glasses.

One added thought: all individual mailboxes work without problem. It's only on the groups VM.

Also tried building a completely new group (One digit off) and the problem carries over to the new group. I reformatted the SD Card and rebuilt the MU law, uploaded the configuration and again the problem is there. Transferred license through self service portal as of very late last night and used new card this morning without success.
To refresh, everything worked just fine before the 11.04 upgrade (8.1 to 9.1 to 11.04).

You said there is the source code number. I am assuming you have H<huntgroupname> or H<huntgroupext>. Have you tried adding V<huntgroupext>? Have you tried switching to Intuity mode (just as a test)? What is the shortcode you are dialing internally to try to access the huntgroup?

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Yes, I have tried both (H) Name and Extension, without success.
*65 It takes me to the login but after entering the extension# and password# I get "Contact Administrator" and I've also tried to change password to complex w/o success.
Tried to switch to Intuity mode and it makes the Hunt Groups unavailable.
I just striped out all short codes and imported a fresh new set of short codes and again the same problem.

Have you added V<ext> and tried? How is *65 setup? *65/Voicemail collect/?/0 I am guessing?

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Thank you all for your support, I've decided to rebuild the Configuration file.
