I get A22 0061 LINE LOOP BACK ERROR 04/13 AND 08/07. Now,
04/13 make sense because there is an ops line card on slot 4 and port 13 but there isn't anything on slot 8 !! its completly empty. Any idea why I am geting that msg ?? and give me solution please...I've tried *31 and *32 many times but it comes back after a few minutes.

when i did that...i got six calls to console. one from each trunk and upon answer, i hear dial tone.

can you call in on each trunk?
did you try reversing one trunk?

When I punch 9, I hear dial tone but when I try to dial some number, that is when it gives me level 9 busy msg.

what do you mean by reversing ?

yes, i can call in and it comes to console and can be answered and talked ...but just can't dial out and lights are still on

when you use ARS and press 9 that is fake dial tone. We have to get the lights off that are on the trunk card

reversing is the trunks come in on a jumper wire that consists of two wires, tip and ring, reversing means swaping the conductors or wires, as an example if the jumper wire is punched on white then blue you would make it blue then white.
Do you have a tool for terminating wires?
Another way to prove this is the amphenol that is on the face of the trunk card, remove it and see if the lights go out, note that this is all your trunks so do quickly so you can at least get incoming calls

as a matter of interest to see if you are using ARS even if it is programed in the switch go to command 301-310 your station programing and register 1 bit "g

let me try reversing wires. yes when i take amphenol out, all lights turn off.

figured something new...after getting that "no trunk releas" msg trunks get locked up and get busy signal on all incoming calles.

taking the amphenol off proves that there is something outside the pbx affecting this.

green light on trunk card is blinking along with all other red ones.

do another *32

oh no...when I revered, nothing happend...I got osme different tone....green light on top of trunk card is blinking and 8 red lights are blinking.

I take it the *32 didn't help?
