I get A22 0061 LINE LOOP BACK ERROR 04/13 AND 08/07. Now,
04/13 make sense because there is an ops line card on slot 4 and port 13 but there isn't anything on slot 8 !! its completly empty. Any idea why I am geting that msg ?? and give me solution please...I've tried *31 and *32 many times but it comes back after a few minutes.

it may be your programing in the trunks, could you post your programing for one of the trunks that is in trouble, i.e. 501 to 580, just one of them.
Did a reversal help, that is a quick check before we go thru all the programing?

Let me know what to do....

THOUGH, I feel great today...NO CALLS HURRAYYY !!!!

501: R1011101000
R200001001
R3120002
R40510010000

Let me know if you need more info..

did Bell have terminate the new trunk onto the SX-50?
Do yo know how to view the programing and if so write down what is in the registers, if not we will start from scratch and guide you thru it

your trunk card is in slot 1? I think your card is in slot 8 therefor your trunks will be command 573 to 580, check that program

hopefully they hooked the trunks back up the way they were before but let us check, the trunks should terminate on the BIX or whatever you have with trunk 1 on pair 1 then trunk 2 on pair 3 and so on, a pair is skiped after each termination

you're right. trunk card is in slot 8 from left. but they all 573-580 have same data as 501 mentioned above.

my way of thinking register 1 should read as:
1101100010 this is counting the whole register all bits
your bit "i" is a 0 if I am reading this right and that is disabled

pairs are skipped. He didn't mess with that part. Here is the connections: 6 pair of lines come out of bell side...they then go to another board where trunk wires are connected. he didnt mess with those connection.

where did you check for dial tone, should be where the trunk lines go into the SX-50. The SX-50 should wire out to a field directly and that is where you should check.

that is where i checked....where land lines are connected with trunk wires. everything is fine till tehre.

LITTLE BETTER...

now one problem is solved. I can get incoming calls. but when i dial 9 i get leval 9-busy.
