SX 50 EQP-BSY 1

I get A22 0061 LINE LOOP BACK ERROR 04/13 AND 08/07. Now,
04/13 make sense because there is an ops line card on slot 4 and port 13 but there isn't anything on slot 8 !! its completly empty. Any idea why I am geting that msg ?? and give me solution please...I've tried *31 and *32 many times but it comes back after a few minutes.

Is there anything programed against that card/circuit 08/07?
I am aware no card exists.

Sorry. The message on 08/07 is A12 057 NO TRUNK RELEASE ACK. 08/01 - 08/07. Actually, bell south is changing phone lines from Centrex to 1fb lines with loop start. does sx 50 support loop start or ground start ? let me know asap...thanks soo much..

its a trunk card i think... yes alarm light is on. software is ms 55 mr 2

SX-50 supports look and ground start. Look in commands 501-580 register 2 bit g.

ok...bell south finished with their side....i have red lights on the whole trunk. all 8 lines are on and keep getting no trunk release message. and when i dial 9 i get level 9-bsy.

do a *32 to see if this will clear any busy outs as a result of the work being done. Confirm the incoming trunks are loop or ground and that your programing is the same. If ground start check for reversals as a reversal will result in a no seize.

*32 cleard up the alarms but keeps coming back and still have lights on all trunks. what is happening is, when i make a test call from cell phone to all lines, some lines are coming to console and can be answered but dial 9 says level busy. checked 501-508 bit g is 0(looped).

alarm keep saying "no trunk release" but right after alarm comes on, i get a call from same trunk and upon answer all i hear is dial tone.

are your trunks loop or ground?

and your trunks are programed for loop start?
Did you confirm the incoming trunks are loop?
You can reset the trunk card if all of the above matches by pulling it out for about 10 seconds and reseating it.

yes trunks are programed (501-508 r2 g0) for loop.
how do you confirm ?

do you have a butt set or anything you can put across the trunks and seize dial tone

normally with loop start there is no reversal but on older offices i.e. SP1 the loop starts could be reversed, if all else fails that could be the trouble, but what you are describing sounds like a loop and ground programing and actual mismatch.

i've tried that...all lines have dial tone. I made some calls to...lines are working fine.

non...i hoocked up saperate phone to direct line and lines to have dial tone...it is just the sx 50 not releasing trunks...
