Let me start by apologizing for a lengthy post, it'll be the last lengthy one, and you'll see why...
I was trying to change a port from superset 4 to superset 420.
Before I realized it can only be connected to a digital controller, I deleted it and recreated it (beforehand made all the notes of all the entries). Now I can receive calls, but I cannot get an outside line. Read up on everything, but no hint on how to fix it. Hope I won't have to restart the system to see the change, I'll have to learn that too.
Once I can get some direction on fixing this, I would like to move it to a digital controller (have 1 port avail). First I will study extensively the 'move' function and hopefully I can do it w/o breaking anything.
I would REALLY appreciate any direction anyone can give me.
BTW: A bit about me, been in the IT/IS industry for over 25 years, now I'm just managing a hotel and I'm stuck fixing everything. I'm capable of learning anything, as you can see, I went from "Well, here's our phone system, good luck, and btw no manuals of any kind" to getting this far.
Thanks!
