Hi all, is it possible to block some extensions from being accessible via the auto attendant? I want the users to be able to dial an extension if they know it, but there are some that they should not be able to dial. I would like to keep the extension that needs blocked in the same range of extensions that all other extensions are in. For example, all site extensions are in 1100-1199 range and I would like to keep the allowed and dis-allowed extensions in that range. Is there a way to block certain extensions from being available from the auto attendant?

Change your DAT table at the remote site so it doesn't allow the scope at the other site.

Thank you again CoralTech! I changed 47-13 Dialed Transfer on the appropriate key from UTRF to TRF and that took care of the problem. Anytime an extension is dialed that is out of the current cabinets number plan results in an "Invalid Entry" response. Thanks again!

Accessing the inmail auto attendant internal to the system came up earlier in this thread, so thought I would add how to do that, since I originally didnt know.

- If you do this in PCPro, use form view!
- 10-42-01: Set the number of trunks you would like to assign as virtual trunks. Default is 0 and the minimum is 2. These will be added on the next available trunks
- If you performed the previous step in form view or WebConnect, then 10-42-02 & 10-42-03 will auto populate. Write these down. -02 is the first trunk assigned and -03 is the station port assigned
- 22-02: Set the trunks assigned, which will be the number in 10-42-02 and that number + 1, to DID
- 11-02: At the station port listed in 10-42-03, assign the desired extension number
- 22-09-01: Set the dial in receive digits to the extension number you set in the previous step
- 22-11-01 & 22-11-02: Route the DID digits to the inmail pilot number
