Startup problem

on startup, no matter what user logs in, an explorer window pops up to the system32 folder. it's not in any of the startup folders, and it is not in the registry under hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run
like a lot of other startup stuff is

it is getting stinking annoying, can someone help? ray

an invalid entry in that location can cause this problem. In other words a key with an entry that has empty quotes ie. " " .There's a tech net article somewhere explaining it but I couldn't find it.
