Where is the mapping for the short cuts menu located on the start button(right click over start)? I inadvertently deleted the explorer option from the short cut menu.

Any help is appreciated.

Jim

Are you talking about your quick launch bar?

Two ways to do this:

#1:

1.Start
2.Settings
3.Taskbar
4.Startup Menu
5.Advanced
6.Click on Start Menu
7.File
8.New
9.Shortcut
10.Browse
11.Pick the Directory and Program
12.Next (the filepath will automatically come up)
13.Name it>Next
14.Finish

#2

Right click START
Open
On an empty space right click
New
Shortcut
and follow 10 thru 14 above

Hope this helps! ggebhart@clover.net
I hope I never get too old or arrogant to learn something new!

Thanks, I'm not looking to add the app to the start up folder but to the quick launch menu. Any help is appreciated.

Jim

Create a shortcut in explorer to the file you want the shortcut for, and place it in C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch
Another way is to create the shortcut anywhere (desktop), then just drag and drop it into quicklaunch on the taskbar. Cheers,
Jim
